Child's duty

Children are focused everywhere, ‘Every Child is Special’ indeed became a famous quote. The movie ‘tare Zameen par’ showed it in a very fine way, Ought to touch any Heart and give a warm Bliss. It’s not like old days where there were lots of kids to parents and many of them were ignored and were deprived of basic facilities. But kids nowadays are very much taken care of by their parents.

When infants, be it the brand of diaper or the lotion it will never be compromised. As the child grows up parents strive their best and admit the child to the best school, dad does the overtime in order to pay the child’s fee for extracurricular classes sacrificing lunch with old friend of his. How can we forget the mother who wakes up early each day, 365 days a year in order to make healthy food to the family which she even manages after her hectic work schedules?

The bed time stories to be said every night even with a tiring day at office or the daily assists in the assignments of the child in spite of having to submit the project report the next day, the American tourister bag packs or the woodland footware, nothing is denied by the parent which diminishes the happiness in the child’s face. The chocolate cakes and the fast track watch for all birthdays, uff!! the list is almost endless....

There are so many more things which the parents do for kids and goes unnoticed. But at the end a small question still remains in mind, isn't it the child's duty to do something in return?

MORNING WITHOUT MADNESS

Panghat pe aake saiyyan marode baiyaan
And everybody crazy on Radha
Chhedde hai humka daiyaan bairi Kanhaiya
And everybody crazy on Radha
Hoga woh lakhon dil ka chor
Humka toh laage woh
Hua hai aise baawla jo kehta jaaye…………………………

I could barely see a snooze and stop it on my cell phone at 6.30 am when the above alarm tone disrupted my fabulous sleep. And thus began my day.
I could hear the pressure cooker whistle from the downstairs but lazy humans we surely are, who won’t wake up in a chilly morning.
In a half sleep mode went and brushed my teeth, the mirror reflected dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes. But who has got the time to pamper. It was a week day and within some time I had to catch my bus to the college. Going downstairs seemed an uphill task.
Hot showers are surely the best thing, as the hot water went ran down my body, thousands of thoughts ran in my mind. Good thing about thoughts are that no one judges you for what you think, and yes the good always comes with a bad, time was ticking and I could hear my name being called out. I was late, thoughts vanished, presence of mind popped up. Prayer was mandatory after showers. And who will sacrifice steaming hot pulao as a breakfast when the stomach is growling? Huh,  yes at times a morning goes without much madness.
