Let critics make us a better and improved person.

Critics are found everywhere! It’s very common for many to criticize us for the wrong things we have done. At times even for the right things we get criticisms, which would make us feel negative about ourselves.

Criticisms are usually harsh. Its tendency of everyone to expect to hear good things about themselves and when someone points out the negative aspect of them, they feel offended. Something like getting kicked out.

Many a times, critics may point out how bad we were at doing something, for example things such as dancing or singing. They would show us the people who are better to us. They may even say how much boring we are in our life.

Often this type of common criticisms leads to dropping of our motivation to do things. We lose our hope on succeeding when we get sharp criticisms.

What we forget is, only if we get criticisms, it is known that we are working and are not idle. They are the indicators that we are doing something.

Criticisms should always make us an improved and better person, not a weak a subtle one.

It’s always best to take criticisms positively something as a support to achieve our goal and not as something that hinders our growth.

Let critics make us a better and improved person.

Its more satisfying to be at the receiving end.

I was just reading the blog post from one of my favorite author Preeti shenoy, which had stressed on ‘learning to take the things”. It came to my mind that, in our life many a times we give a lot of value to few persons.

They are kind of very much important to us no matter what! There are numerous reasons on why that person is important to us; it might be, because of the respect, or love and care or a secret crush!

The importance goes to such an extent that we forget to realize that we are losing our own value in the process of making them important.

We start to like the things they like, we do the things which they like to do, and almost all of our way of life goes according to the liking of that other person.

For some period of time we feel like it’s a good thing that’s happening, but at a certain point, we would feel like we have lost our own individuality.

We feel like we are giving the best we can to that person and we don’t even get a proper attention from them. Even though we are hurt at some point of time, we don’t express it to them in fear of hurting or losing them.

We have got our own individuality. Yes! Every person we respect, love and care are important ones in our life, but if we don’t express them that we are hurt by their behavior, it continues for ever.

It’s ok to demand a little more respect for our individuality. After all we too are something special. There is no point in giving everything and not taking back.

Learn and get used to be important too. There is a little more inner satisfaction to be in the receiving end after all!

Failing isn't something that's disgusting.

The world in here is very much competitive. Everyone wants to be successful! Be it in the exams or business or life. Nothing is compromised on being successful.

Society has created such a mentality among everyone that not being successful is felt as something shame.

For example: ‘Not being successful in simple things such as scoring marks in the examinations’, If I score a low marks in any exams, its filled in my mind that something shameful has happened or if I fail to complete any course successfully then it’s felt as if something’s not so good.

The mentality goes on even in the bigger aspects such as in case I don’t do well in life by settling in a high pay job or earn well enough, it would be something that’s not appreciated.

Sadly! The aspect of not being successful has been equaled to being shameful or disgusting.

What we fail to understand here is, it’s okay to fail in life, it’s absolutely fine to score less in your examinations, and it’s also totally fair not to complete the course which you won’t find compatible.

Life isn’t a competition, where we always have to be better than others; it’s something where we need to like the things that we do, irrespective of failing in it.

Failing isn’t something that’s disgusting; it just suggests that you are at least taking some action than being idle and it’s absolutely okay to fail in any aspect!

What matters the most is, if it is the thing in which you have interests, just learn the lesson from your failure and be willing to correct yourself and do better than what you used to do!

If it doesn’t interest you! Chuck it; go after the things that you really like!

One more moment of patience can be useful!

Everyone gets angry for one or the other reason. Reason may be as big as losing lakhs of rupees in the stock market or as small as losing a pen or an eraser. The reaction to these events often plays a very important role in every individual’s life.

Patience is one thing which is very much essential in everyone’s life because how we react to others when our patience is lost can surely affect a long term relationship with that person.

Many a times there will be hopeless situations which can make us angry! It seems like there are always lots of people around, who are born to bug us the whole life. It seems like a whole lot of nuisance will be created around and our patience is ought to be lost at these times.

It surely feels like giving a tight slap to the buggers! Uff!

But, the one more moment of patience can be very much useful to us,

because

It’s the tendency of humans to follow ‘mistakes or harsh things can be forgiven but not forgotten’. The deeds done by you will be easily forgiven but the person on opposite side changes permanently for the things you did when you have lost the patience.

The situation can be related to a goalkeeper in the foot ball matches. Any number of goals saved by him will not at all be counted but he will always be blamed for the one goal which he couldn’t save.

Similar is the situation of the person who has lost his patience. The number of times he was patient will not be counted but the one harsh remark when he as lost his patience will be always be pinned down.

So it’s always better to add one more moment of patience rather than getting the permanent bad mark.

crushes! yes or no?

Every individual have crushes! For few of them it may be the actors acting on the big screens and for few others it might be someone of their class or neighborhood.

Crushes are those people who makes you blush! The one who makes your heart skip a beat. Even a small glance of them makes you happy. You forget your worries; you forget what you were doing as soon as you see your crush.

What we usually tend to forget is the effect which ‘crushes’ can put in our life. We forget what happens to our way of life when we have crushes.

There can be drastic changes in the pattern of our life, we tend to wait for long time for the texts of our crushes, and our moods brighten as soon as we get the replies or we get mood swings when our crush doesn’t reply properly.

There can be something like an uncommon attachment towards that person, even though you hardly converse with them.

Psychologists say that crushes last only for 4 months, if it exceeds that time, it usually will be associated with love! Which often turns out to be a one sided love.

One sided love often turns out to be an utter disappointment as there will always be a negativity complex or the fear of rejection in us.

We tend to lose the productive part of us if we start to waste our time for the crushes.

Even though crushes can help us to be productive in a way such as developing oneself to impress the crush, it often turns out to be a disappointed one, as it’s always advisable to impress ourselves than impressing other person.

So it’s up to you to see how you spend your time! By being productive or by waiting for the reply or smile of your crush!
