Have an attitude of gratitude.

At times I do go through newspapers and today I got to read a catchy headline stating ‘The attitude of gratitude’.

The article went with an example of scene in the movie ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ where the hero of the movie hugs the sweeper and thanks him for keeping the floor clean.

How happy we would feel when someone says a thank you with the million dollar smile on their face? How our lives would turn so much positive when a close friend hugs us tight and comforts when we are broken?

Small deeds of gratitude can have a huge impact on anyone’s life. Gratitude is a sign of recognizing and appreciating the work done by the opposite and giving back the same kindness to them.

How many times have we thanked the opposite one and made their day? A thank you for the small and kind help which they have done?

Often we take them for granted for their little works. Little work such as getting us a glass of water or so much negligible thing such as giving an ear to us and comforting on a bad day.

Saying a thank you can have huge impact on the other one as well as on you. When it lights up the mood of the opposite one you would be strengthening the relationships which you have at present.

Grateful ones are more liked by the people as they pass on the happiness to others. The happiest people are the ones who are very much thankful for what they have and not the ones who own the best things.

Why be grumpy and bitter when we can share so much of happiness being grateful?

Switch over to an attitude with a pinch of gratitude.

Impress yourself rather than impressing others

When a pretty girl wearing an attractive outfit passes beside a guy it’s obvious that he would stare at her and of course would want to impress her by few of his moves.

Irrespective of people, it’s a human tendency to try to impress people. Be it by the way of physical appearance or by the mental wit. We would want the one in front of us to be impressed!

We do things that we are good at to seek people’s attention and also try to hide things which we are not good at.

Often we wear an outfit in which we appear beautiful rather than wear one in which we are comfortable. We take out our 4 wheelers though we are much happier in our 2 wheelers.

We are more concerned about what the people think! We are paying more heed to impress the whole world rather than impressing ourselves.

If we are busy impressing people around we tend to forget those things that would make us happy. It’s like an impossible task to impress the people around! And what’s the use of giving an impression which others like and makes you unhappy?

Do things that make you feel good rather than some stuff which you hate to do because at the end of the day you would be indeed very happy that you followed what your heart said. You would feel the satisfaction that you did things that made you happy.

Doing what you like is freedom and liking what you do is happiness.

You have just one life to live. It’s far more blissful to impress yourself rather than impressing others.

Deal wisely with crappy people

There are different kinds of people in this world. Among them are the happy ones, the sad ones, the good ones and importantly the crappy ones. The last one often seems to outnumber all other category.

The happy ones are those people who are naturally happy! They have adequate amount of everything in their life. Good amount of wealth, healthy life style, good looking spouse and other stuffs.

Next comes the sad ones. These are the people who often would feel low for more number of days than needed! They will be sad for too many number of reasons. They will try to make each and every thing perfect and often end up disappointed and be sad!

Then are the good people! They are good by nature, they often support the positive things, help the society to develop. Improve the things around. It doesn’t mean that they are born well or so but they do good.

Later comes the most awaited group, these are the people who are very hard to deal with. These are the people who can’t see the people happy and the ones who prick the sad ones. Good ones can’t be digested by this group.

They are the people who bring you down. The one with negative aspect filled in their life. They won’t work for any betterment neither will let others work. It’s almost impossible to win these kinds of people. And changing these people? The chance is almost nil.

Changing these people is like fighting with a pig in a mud. It would be you who would get dirty and let pig enjoys the show.

What’s better for us is to avoid these kinds of people entering in our life and also to kick out if there are any so that we remain clean as well as flourish in our life.

Deal much more wisely with crappy people!

Let the other half of you be an asset to you and not a liability!

Being in a good relationship is aspired by everyone. But only few of them succeed in them. There might be lots of reason for the failure of relationships but it hardly matters.

The beginning of any relationship seems like we are in the cloud 9 but as the time passes it seems like carrying some amount of weight on our back. A good relationship is that where you have a person who loves you more than anyone else in the world.

As the time passes why the bliss in the relationship diminishes? Why do we feel that something is pulling us back from achieving great amount of success? Something like a heavy stone tied to our leg.

Is that we got committed too early? Is that we are committed to the wrong person? So many questions run around in the mind.

What kind of person should I go along with? You may have this question in you. It’s you who know better than anyone else about what kind of person you want! Taking advices on selecting a person isn’t a good idea.

Be with someone who you feel glad to be with! The external beauty doesn’t matter much. Not that I say you to be with someone who is less attractive and makes you feel low.

Be with someone who lifts up your mood when you have just passed a hopeless situation.

Be with that person who points out your potentials and nurtures it which even you were not aware of.

Be with that one who lets you grow and be yourself.

As Stephanie Althoff says ‘you should fall in love with someone who inspires you’

A relationship will be a successful one only if both of them think they have got someone more than they deserve.

Let the other half of you be an asset to you and not a liability!

Seek inspiration

Every mind is creative. But over time, it loses its sharpness be what so ever creative it was. With this amount of distraction in the present world the scope for being creative is already very thin. Many a time laziness overrides the creative part of us.

Apart from all this, we do find lots of creative talents in the world! How can they sustain themselves from these high levels of distractions? How could they achieve what they had desired for?

It’s because of the inspiration!

Inspiration is being mentally stimulated to do something creative! It comes from numerous sources. Few simple things such as reading a good book can be a source of great inspiration. It can also be something like the recent ‘Swachh Bharath Abhiyan’ where the Prime Minister of the Country himself comes out to the streets and initiates the cleaning campaign.

These inspirations are such that, it makes us feel the urge to do great things. Something creative which we wouldn’t had thought of doing. Those things, which we had thought was out of our limit.

As Budda says ‘The mind is everything. What you think, you become’

Get out of your daily routine! Seek inspiration and unleash the creativity within.
'Sky will only be limit for you'.
