Impress yourself rather than impressing others

When a pretty girl wearing an attractive outfit passes beside a guy it’s obvious that he would stare at her and of course would want to impress her by few of his moves.

Irrespective of people, it’s a human tendency to try to impress people. Be it by the way of physical appearance or by the mental wit. We would want the one in front of us to be impressed!

We do things that we are good at to seek people’s attention and also try to hide things which we are not good at.

Often we wear an outfit in which we appear beautiful rather than wear one in which we are comfortable. We take out our 4 wheelers though we are much happier in our 2 wheelers.

We are more concerned about what the people think! We are paying more heed to impress the whole world rather than impressing ourselves.

If we are busy impressing people around we tend to forget those things that would make us happy. It’s like an impossible task to impress the people around! And what’s the use of giving an impression which others like and makes you unhappy?

Do things that make you feel good rather than some stuff which you hate to do because at the end of the day you would be indeed very happy that you followed what your heart said. You would feel the satisfaction that you did things that made you happy.

Doing what you like is freedom and liking what you do is happiness.

You have just one life to live. It’s far more blissful to impress yourself rather than impressing others.
