Learning is one of the most important processes that never ends.
We can learn from everything and about everything.
From a very tender age we start to learn various things, right
from crawling and eating as kids to driving a car or flying a plane as we grow
up. We keep on learning.
We learn alphabets, poems, stories and many more things when we
are at schools. Then we choose subjects to learn as we grow up and go to
college.
We learn things which our parents or friends have advised us. We
also learn extra things that our teachers recommend. We learn few more things
so that it makes us different than others at large, technically which makes us
better than others.
At times we learn few things which we won’t even know why we
have learnt it. We think it might come to use someday.
I feel in the conquest of learning many more things to be better
than others or so, we tend forget to start learning about ourselves.
I feel we don’t even know what it actually is to learn about
ourselves.
Few of the basic things such as our physical, mental or social
needs are forgotten to be learnt by us in the tight schedule of learning
everything else.
We forget to learn about our very own body unless or otherwise
it’s a necessity or too late. Something like understanding our physical
strength or capability is not at all a fact of concern to us.
We even fail to understand and learn about our mind, its
necessities and improvements. Few simple things such as what makes us feel
good! Or what helps to lift our bad mood! Is hardly given time to understand.
A question would surely arise in our mind at end asking what is
the use of learning so much of others when you have failed to learn completely about
yourself?
Is it worth it?
