Have an attitude of gratitude.

At times I do go through newspapers and today I got to read a catchy headline stating ‘The attitude of gratitude’.

The article went with an example of scene in the movie ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ where the hero of the movie hugs the sweeper and thanks him for keeping the floor clean.

How happy we would feel when someone says a thank you with the million dollar smile on their face? How our lives would turn so much positive when a close friend hugs us tight and comforts when we are broken?

Small deeds of gratitude can have a huge impact on anyone’s life. Gratitude is a sign of recognizing and appreciating the work done by the opposite and giving back the same kindness to them.

How many times have we thanked the opposite one and made their day? A thank you for the small and kind help which they have done?

Often we take them for granted for their little works. Little work such as getting us a glass of water or so much negligible thing such as giving an ear to us and comforting on a bad day.

Saying a thank you can have huge impact on the other one as well as on you. When it lights up the mood of the opposite one you would be strengthening the relationships which you have at present.

Grateful ones are more liked by the people as they pass on the happiness to others. The happiest people are the ones who are very much thankful for what they have and not the ones who own the best things.

Why be grumpy and bitter when we can share so much of happiness being grateful?

Switch over to an attitude with a pinch of gratitude.
