Food and Relationship

In this huge world with 7 billion people, it sounds easy to find a good opposite one! But practically, finding that compatible one isn’t as easy as it sounds!

Usually it is presumed that, with the compatible one, everything is so much perfect, but few small things, at times create a lot of glitches.

Something such as the food habit of individual can be a significant thing in relationships.

In a perfectly compatible relationship, food habits seem like an unimportant thing. If both of them share a same pattern of food habits I too agree with the point. What if the food habits differ? What if one is from a pure vegetarian upbringing? And other is not?

Would it still make the difference?

It surely would. A vegetarian will surely feel uncomfortable when their closest one dines meat on their next seat.

Similarly it would still be unpleasant for the non-veggies when their other half restricts them from having their favorite cuisine.

Sacrificing our food habits and living on partner’s choice would surely work out at the pleasant times but it would surely be a problem when the times are hard.

I feel it’s always better to choose the compatible partner who respects our food choice and we better respect theirs too. Because when we have come together in spite of many difficulties, food must never be the reason to break apart.

After all we eat to live. And not live to eat.
