There has been a rapid and
substantial progress in the percentage of ‘Earners’ in our country. Several of
reasons have backed for this rapid progress. Right from focus on education to
training people on skill development and so on.
If you are thinking like... Is it a
bad thing? Absolutely not!
The individuals are being well
educated and are into well paid/earning fields. Of course while marrying or living
in with each other the basic criteria seen would be of financial security and
education along with a pinch of something called as ‘love’.
I watched the movie Ki and ka
today. It did seem funny at the beginning where in the male of the house takes
the job of running the home and female goes for the earning!
Of course our way of thinking has
progressed a lot because in the past a female who would earn were quite less in
number and now there are lots of women who earn well and are independent and we
have proudly accepted it.
Okay… all of the above are just
facts! Which you would obviously know!
Hitting on the point that I had to
convey, would it be comfortable if the other half of us starts to prosper?
Prosper in a very great scale?
Right from being totally dependent
towards super popular role model?
I feel we have developed that bad
mentality where in it would be very hard for us to break the fact that ‘Anyone
who is dependent on us can become totally independent and prosper’
Everyone is filled with awesomely
great amount of potential and it would take a pinch of extra time for them to
set their passion on track.
It is for us to be the one who
supports the dependent in spreading out their wings by kicking out our ego and help
them move towards the path of success rather than feel jealous/insecure about
them and cut off their wings!
After all, without the support
given by our other half!
We would be nothing but just ‘The
half!’
