Yesterday I was talking to an old classmate of mine and she said
me it would be almost like dying to face a rejection from anyone.
It surely gave me a thought about the rejections, why people are
so afraid of rejections! Many a times we want to do certain things but we fail
to do in fear of being rejected.
Be it something small such as talking to a good looking lady who
stays in your area. You get creeps in your minds about her rejecting to talk to
you, a thing that might hurt your ego or self-respect.
Moving a little further, In spite of you being a nice person, when
you propose someone and that person rejects you for being average on looks!, Ah
sounds Bad!
But what’s wrong in accepting the reality? Yes! I am being
rejected by someone. No doubt it’s painful, but it’s far better than sitting
idle and not trying at all.
Not only in these ‘pretty ones’ things! In many aspects of life
you may face rejections! The painting you drew may be rejected to be auctioned,
the photograph you clicked may be rejected or even a book which you have
written with full dedication may be rejected to get published.
No matter what, you can’t just impress few people. It’s the
reality! It’s better for us to know that it’s okay not to impress the ‘FEW’
when there are lots more people who are impressed by us.
Yes! It’s okay to get rejected and it’s absolutely not shameful.
Rejections should always give you a push to do and be better. It
shouldn’t hinder you by creating insecurity and negativity around yourself.
Let the desire inside you to succeed be more than the fear of
being rejected!
Indeed a great message Arjun, Keep this going (y)
